About the Team

FEC Ltd founder and director Michael McManus is a fire safety engineering consultant with an academic and professional background in structural, mechanical, fire safety engineering and project management. He has worked in the fire safety industry for over 18 years and holds a 1st Class BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering, and an MSc in Advanced Mechanical engineering and has studied Tribology, Material Science, and Fire and Explosion Engineering at PhD level. Michael is committed to professional development and is an active member of the Institution of Fire Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
